It’s all about the gargoyle….
Gargoyles need to be the first thing in and the last thing out of the house in order to chase away with any certaintly the evil spirits in the home or those attempting to get in. Sooooo, you would think I found him first right? Wrong. I can’t find a gargoyle, even a teeny one to “peep” scarily at bad spirits. And to make matters worse, we’ve put things into the house. I’m having a time reconciling whether or not we are too far gone or could just bring one of the little fellas in now and have it do some retroactive chasing.
For reference to you non-believers. We have been having icky luck with all matters of the move. I suspect that the lack of gargoylian presence is adding to the problems if not outright causing them. Family things I’m crazy, I know I am not. I offer as confirmation:
1) Ashlyn wasn’t allowed to register for school until 2 days before school starts, even though I called a few months back and was rudely turned away by the ::insert sarcasm here:: overly helpful and far too pleasant person at the school office. Ashlyn is not receiving a locker this year….BECAUSE WE FAILED TO REGISTER EARLY ENOUGH!
2)Our fridge, ordered from Best Buy has been attempted to deliver 4 times now….we still don’t have a fridge.
3) I expect our goods from Illinois will arrive cracked in half.
4) We may be forced to relocate to a new hotel tomorrow…which may not be a bad thing.
5) I suspect that I did not get the job I’d been interviewing for since I haven’t heard.
So….I think I need a gargoyle to gobble up all the evil spirits. Anyone have a spare?

Ammy, I would download a picture of a gargoyle and post the picture everywhere. It might be better than nothing, and at least it is something until you are able to order a “real” one.
Maybe you could just get a tape of that cartoon show gargoyles from a few years ago?

Did you manage to find any yet? I have quite a few of them placed around my house. All of them were given to me and I am still on the look out for more. All I see these days are little plastic pieces of crap trying to pass themselves off as gargoyles. Where are the real ones??

No, not yet. We thought we lucked out when we went to a little knick-knacky store and they said yes when we asked if they had one. It turned out to be…get this…a griffon with a housecat’s head. LOL
