A Sad Statement…
How sad is it that this has to happen in our country, the “richest” nation in the world? Bank Robber’s Wish to Go to Prison Granted I worry that the powers that be spend so much time focusing on what happens in other lands that they don’t see what happens right under their noses.
Of course, there were probably other alternatives for this gentleman. But, this isn’t the first story I’ve heard like this and it makes me a little sad nonetheless.

I can’t believe he would get sentenced to 3 years for 80 dollars! What a wacky world and a sad world all at once

That’s part of what’s sad…he ASKED for three years because he’ll be able to get on Social Security then.
What’s really strange, is the judge said, sure that’s ok.
