Thursday Thirteen - Edition 17/73
|
The hubby may have outdid his Coach purse-buying self at Christmas. I got, among other things, a 30gig Video iPod. So, I’ve been ripping CDs for most of the day. Here’s a random list of thirteen of them: 1. Asia - “Asia” Hopefully that little sampling will highlight the diversity of my musical tastes. Hehe. |
Wishing everyone the Happiest New Year, ever!

Hmmm … I could go for about 60% of those choices as Mom has ‘em in her CD collection, but I seriously gotta question the “Fergie” CD … That’s just a tad “too” diverse for even a cool kitty like me. But, I’m all about the HOJO!
DMM
Come by and view my TT of Mom’s resolutions …

I like many of those too. My Mommie got an iPod shuffle and is still loading her music.

Truly diverse taste in music. Video iPod, huh? Coach purse? Sheesh, I’m lucky my husband knows his way around Amazon.com and my Wish List!
I have to admit, he’s usually a really good gifter. He compensates for it by snoring and ice-chewing.

An eclectic selection of music! You have very diverse tastes! Enjoy your new iPod. Thanks for stopping by!

Super list of music…
Happy TT

Would you believe that the only artist I know from your list is Celine? I’m not one for modern day music. I guess because my husband and I did mostly hawai’ian and oldies.
Actually Ma, most of those were from the 1980s or early 1990s and older than Celine. So, the truth of the matter is, you might just be more hip and modern than me!

Ohhh, Queensryche. Silent Lucidity is my all time favorite song.
How is the Hole music? I haven’t listed to her stuff in a long time.
My 13 are up. I moved my blog so this is my first 13 at my new digs!
I haven’t listened to the Hole CD again yet, I found it actually in a portable CD case holding my Christmas CDs. Nothing says Happy Holidays like a drug-fueled Courtney Love songfest I guess, LOL I did enjoy that CD before, so I assume I’ll still like it.
And I totally agree on Silent Lucidity, it’s one of the best ever. I like to torture my daughter with that CD, she hates them. Crazy little thing.

Great list! I remember how much fun it was to upload music to my iPod for the first time! Happy Thursday!!

You weren’t kidding when you said you had diverse music tastes. I adored Blue Oyster Cult when I was younger. I still listen to them now, but not with the manic adulation of a teen from yesteryear.

At least I’ve heard of 4,5, and 11 which is much better than I usually do on i-pod selections.
Thanks for visiting my TT.

Yay Oingo Boingo!
I did my first TT today. I’m a trendwhore.
Hey Katie! Welcome to
the “in” crowdTT, your secret decoder ring should be arriving soon, along with your packet of “special” Kool-Aid. LOLDecember 28th, 2006 at 1:18 pm
I used to love Toni Braxton during my “single” days. She has such emotional songs that I felt I could relate to. LOL! Congrats on the new iPod! Woo! Hoo!
BTW, thanks for supporting Pass The Torch . . . and for reminding her that I sent you over there! You’re too funny!
I am so with you on the Toni Braxton songs. So with you, that yes, I did a semi-alcohol fueled karaoke of “Unbreak My Heart”. Once. LOL

I like all types of music too. Mostly country, so of course love Rascal Flats.
Last night my daughter was showing me Fergie’s video, “Fergilicious!”
I also like Toni Braxton, and Celine.
Happy TT!

Pssst, don’t tell anyone, but I only own three CD’s on my Top 50 Albums of 2006 list too. And one of them was a promo CD. Granted thanks to the Best Buy gift cards I got for Christmas, I’ll grab a couple more off my list this weekend.

Very eclectic. I just finished loading up my Ipod - I splurged on the 80gig. I just put my entire CD collection on the thing. Next up - a movie or three.
I love my Ipod!!

Great list! Aren’t they wonderful little gadgets? You should download some podcasts off of ITunes. They are so much fun! Happy Thursday and Happy New Year!

There you go with the Coach purse again. The last time, my wife followed the link from my site to your blog and there on the home page was your post about your Coach. She didn’t say anything, but I know what she was thinking, “why can’t my husband be like that?” Thanks a lot.
Sorry!!! :O

Hey…all I have to say is…
Every time you come around, tigerprr, my London Bridge wanna go down…or something like that I think. In fact, I don’t think it’s even so much THE London Bridge. Perhaps more like an overpass actually…or even a drawbridge…yeah, a drawbridge. Definitely a drawbridge.
Which reminds me: What the hell does that mean anyhow? London Bridge wanna go down? Down where?
Oh wait! You said not to say anything about Fergie! Dammit. I’m sorry.
Otherwise, I loved your list! PURR! ; )
Well re: London Bridge, the teenager and I agreed that it seems to be some sort of sexual reference, but we can’t figure out what for sure. And honestly, I don’t really wanna know and I’m glad she doesn’t.
December 29th, 2006 at 3:40 pm
HoJo! Oh my, that brings back memories. Great list!
December 29th, 2006 at 4:16 pm
We have similar tastes in music! Sorry I am late too, I know what you mean… catching up is more important that blogging. Just don’t tell anyone I said that! :O)
I listen to Babyface, Fiona Apple, How Weird Jones LOL, my husband plays Queensryche
December 30th, 2006 at 11:50 am
Looks like you and I share a lot of the same musical preferences…some good stuff on that list!
Thanks for stopping by my list…lots of happiness, health, and hugs to you in the new year!

I got a 30GB Video iPod and $40 worth of iTunes for Christmas, too. I love HoJo. Heh, I was watching a thing on VH1 and had just downloaded #13 before I came here. Too funny!
Hey, what’s up with Yoshi? I miss him! Pass that on from me the next time you talk to him!
