5 (More) Things You May Not Know About Me
Mary over at Almost Somewhat Positive tagged me for this one…I did it last week, but I’ll give you 5 more little things about me, because I like to do as I’m told! Hehe
1) I (along with hubby) am a big movie buff, our DVD collection just passed the 500 DVD mark.
2) I am especially fond of Martial Arts and Godzilla movies.
3) I really, REALLY, hate Forest Gump. I think it was ridiculously overrated and did not cry. The hubby and daughter ALWAYS make me watch this thing if it’s on, and will even sometimes throw the DVD in at random just to hear me whine.
4) I have memories going back to being in the crib and can remember how chewing on teething toys felt.
5) Once I’ve decided something has a home in a certain spot, it drives me nuts for it to be out of place. This is how I know my family is trying to drive me insane. They’re always moving stuff!

I’m sorry, I tried to look at my potential tag-ee’s to see if they had done one recently, I guess I didn’t look good enough. I forget its New Year’s Eve, we don’t have anyone we really trust to babysit so we never do anything.

BTW, thanks for the New Year’s e-card. I hope that losing weight thing works for me and the vacation thing as well. My niece sent me a free plane ticket, and I owe myself a long weekend away from my kids and hubby to regenerate my senses…

Wow, my memory doesn’t go that far back.
He-he. I drive my wife crazy too by moving things on purpose. If something is facing one way, I’ll rotate it to face in a different direction. Or I’ll mix and match and her decorations. Drives my wife up the wall.

Wow, no Forrest Gump, that’s disturbing, of course I’m a history and music buff so that movie’s right up my alley.
500 DVD’s? I’m not sure if I even have 50 (unless you count TV and box sets as individual disks).

Memories of the crib? My hubby always tells me he remembers things from then and I think he is full of bull. But - now there is someone else out there too! So - maybe he really does remember.

I have lots of favorites but my very favorite movie is “Pretty Woman”. I always watch it when I’m sick.

I have to agree about the Gump - Ick!
I don’t think I have 500 DVDs, but I do have quite a few. I have some that I just love and I have others that I bought because the movies made me sleepy.
Kind of odd, but some films work that way for me and can be helpful on a sleepless night. Films like that are usually shot at night or feature dull plots like the Bourne movies.
