Go Fish!
Now that there’s more than say, 2 of you that grace me with your presence, I wanted to share something that I love with you. it’s the Fishing for Deals website. I love a good bargain and I love free samples! Don’t you? This forum, is mainly a whole BUNCH of moms, that post about online deals, in-store deals, coupon codes, free sample offers, contests, reward programs and sweepstakes mainly. But there’s so much more! They discuss their favorite TV shows, there’s even a “Kiss my Bass” Group to bitch vent about just about anything. It’s a really strong community. There’s a ton of free stuff you can just send off for online and the people in this community share the things they come across with eachother. Some of it is very strange, and I don’t send off for everything, just the stuff I’ll actually use. But, it’s how I try out a lot of products before I spend money on them. I totally recommend it to any frugal Mom, Dad or single person just trying to squeak by.
Go fish!
This has not been a paid advertisement, it’s a tiggerprr PSA

I’m one frugal mom who likes free stuff. Thanks for the info, I’m off to check it out.
BTW! I don’t think your a mean mom, Katelyn does the same thing, her head hits the pillow, and she’s gone to the world.
I’m LOL about your husband, that’s funny!

Looks like a cool site… do you post here about any of the good freebies you find?
I’m finding it hard most days to keep up with blogs, much less some of my message boards. I am woefully behind on my cooking and scrapping message boards sites
Thanks for the PSA, good one!!!
I haven’t posted about any deals yet. I suppose I might if there was something just insanely good. I go there a couple times a week and give a quick perusal to see if anything jumps out at me. One could spend hours a day there, I try not to but it’s hard!

Some highlights:
1) Several cookbooks
2) tons of free samples (shampoo, snacks, cleaning products, cosmetics)
3) a Sonic-Care tootbrush, a whole box of Take 5 candy bars and the new Ziploc Twistloc storage containers (via a product/word of mouth marketing company) lots of product tests there if you’re interested in joining that panel shoot me an email and I’ll send you an invite.
4) I won a Superman Returns Board Game, Some Kryptonite goo/slime stuff, 2 pedometers, 65 (yes, 65) 2-liter bottles of Coke during the Olympics, countless candy bars
5) Several free full size cosmetics and Swiffer products.
6) a few free subscriptions (US News & World Report and Star Magazine for 2 years each)
7) Shopping: Got all the kids and us clothes for as little as 2.99 for an Old Navy Hoodie on up to winter coats for $14.99.
Oh and a biggie: If you’re in to Overstock.com there’s actually a means to request a deal on any merchandise they have on their site and a representative of that company can a lot of times, lower their price for you.
It’s totally been worth the time I’ve spent there.

Hmmm. I guess I should tell the wife. Maybe that will slow down the wife’s online shopping.

Man. I keep forgetting to visit that site. I’m sure it’ll change someday.
Was that the site too that had ideas for what’s for dinner? Because that’s my biggest dilemma of the day.
Why, yes it is that very site! On a side note: OMG Look everyone! It’s Yoshi!
