Hello, Again! :)

Well, have another week at work under my belt. I have to say that one movie quote kind of sums up how I feel:

Garth Algar: It’s sucking my will to live!

I had pleasantly gotten selective amnesia about how lazy people have gotten and how far the general work ethic has fallen. I’ve been reminded all too well these past few weeks. I’m not discouraged, but a bit disheartened for our future.

I am pretty tired lately, which is good because my insomnia seems to be cured. Maybe I just needed something to do. LOL I am however, faced with a giant pile of laundry that I need to do, but I’ve simply been too tired to tackle it. That’s my goal for this weekend. Along with catching up on everyone’s blogs.

I’ve been missing the daily interaction with all of my blog friends and I feel out of the loop but I do look forward to Saturday mornings when I can make my rounds and see what you’ve all been up to. I appreciate all of you who stick around to read the little crumbs I leave during the week. I promise that as I adjust to carving out 10 hours of my day between the actual work day and travel time, I will be more prolific in my writing. I guess what I’m trying to say is, “Thanks for hanging in there with me.”

My Project 365 page has pretty much gone to hell in a handbasket, but I’m going to try and resume taking a photo a day. In fact, there’s one that I intend to take on my way to work that I think you will all find breathtaking. Let’s hope I remember my camera on Monday. :)

Ashlyn is hobbling around without the aid of crutches and was able to resume driving this week. That’s a plus, since we don’t have to get up almost an hour earlier when we have to carpool to work and school.

Life always moves on as does time, no matter what you’re doing…I hope to be able to write more about the things we’re doing and seeing soon. :)

Hang in there. It won’t be long before Ashlyn goes to college…then you have to work two jobs to pay for her college education.

LOL, whatever it takes so that I can be well taken care of when I become a burden to her.

Glad to hear that Ashlyn is a bit more mobile. That’s a step in the right direction.

Sorry work is so frustrating. I haven’t worked in an office in 11 years; I think I’d be scared by it now. I kinda like the freedom of writing at home in my jammies and then submitting articles to an editor far, far away. So much more relaxing.

I wouldn’t abandon you just because you don’t blog as much. Now, if you were to ignore me completely, THEN I’d have to hunt you down…(grin)

Nice to hear from you and I’m glad that you’re hanging in there! I’m also happy that Ashlyn’s recovery is going well. Have a nice Saturday!!

Can you believe we have that movie “hello again” by the way? it’s the first thing I thought of when i saw the title of the post. we watched it recently too. lol forgot how funny it was.

good to hear about ashlyn. now maybe she can remind me about my peanut butter pie recipe. :P

It’s more than just the 8 or so hours spent in the office, isn’t it? There’s getting up a little earlier to shower and dress, and then the time in the car, and then getting home and winding down. Then there’s dinner and time with the family.

Before you know it, it’s time for bed. And then the alarm goes off and you do it all over gain.

    Wait…I hope I didn’t just depress you!!

Glad to see you, bud! I can only imagine your laundry… I have been busy just doing house stuff, and with my water heater breaking recently, I went a couple of days without doing laundry… and I am still up to my eye balls. I hope you have time to relax in between loads and you get some decent blogging in!

Glad to hear that Ashlyn is doing better!

I haven’t posted on my Project 365 since mid February. Oh well . . .

I can always count on you to make me feel better when I’m feeling low! LOL ;)
