You Gotta Be Freaking Kidding Me…

:(

It’s just so wrong. The bottom two so did not deserve to be bottom two. I wish they’d change the voting to voting the person you wish to go off.

I was ranting that this pissed me off more than when Chris got prematurely voted off last year. To which my husband replied, “No, this does not piss you off more than when Chris got voted off last year.” and then he laughed at me. I guess I was pretty honked. LOL

    About?….

I’m assuming this is because Sanjaya was not in the bottom on Idol? I totally, completely and whole-heartedly agree!

    who were the bottom feeders?

Chris R. and Stephanie with Stephanie going home. :(

ROFL - yeah, I know what you mean. I told my hubby if Chris had gone last night I would have seriously considered not watching anymore of the season. He raised and eyebrow and said, “but what about Blake - you’d come to see him” - and dang it he was right. The good news is that it is only a matter of time before Sanjaya goes and the “wake up call” for Chris last night should prevent him from ending up in the bottom 2-3 until we approach finals. I was so sure the bottom three were the third group - I couldn’t believe the bottom two. :(

    Hugs,
    Holly

My husband changed our cable box yesterday and forgot to program the DVR to tape AI. I have no idea what happened!

i hate this show so much. Its a setup, to make the suspension last. I refuse to watch as long as Sanjaya is on

I must say that I’ve only once watched an entire episode of American Idol. I know, that’s so un-American. I have watched quite a few of the songs online though. I have no idea what’s going on this year.

I have to be totally anti-American Idol since they didn’t let my sister on the show.

When Carrie won over Bo, I started to realize that the show might just be more about connecting with a fanbase. When Taylor won last season, I became convinced that it was all about fanbase.

This season, the fanbase will be critical because overall interest in the show seems to be down - at least here in the beginning. So I’m thinking that we’re going to have many surprise eliminations.

I think this may be one of the more difficult seasons to call. Although Melinda seems like the hands-down walk-away favorite based on talent alone, if she’s not connecting with a dedicated fanbase that will vote every week no matter what, then someone else will sneak in and win.

My human laughed when you made that comment in the last post about kinda loving Blake! He does have the charisma make it pretty far–not convinced he can win just yet, but I keep pushing him farther up the scale in how well he does almost every week. He’s certainly easier on my sensitive ears than some of the women…

I keep waiting for Sanjaya to be put out of his misery. It’s too bad that some really good people are getting voted off rather than him. Has he done anything that we like?! Stephanie at least did some good stuff early on that set her apart!

  10. Bond Says:

As you know I had Stephanie going. She was not good this week and it was her second tough week in a row.

Chris did not deserve it at all.

If it were vote for who you wanted to go home the winners would have been different each year with fans of one contestant ganging up on another…not sure that would work at all…

they say bottom two, not bottom two vote getters. Its a scam
