Greetings Friends!
Ashlyn had her knee surgery on Friday and came out with flying colors. In fact, thanks to modern chemistry, her colors aren’t the only thing that’s flying, if you know what I mean. After a couple doses of “the good stuff” she looked up at hubby and I and simply said, with a big cheesy grin no less, “I feel good!” (I half expected her to hop up and do a little James Brown dance.)
She has a giant brace on her leg and we go back to the doctor tomorrow. I’ve got the week off from work if we need to use it, so I am hoping that I’ll get the chance to get back into the swing of posting and get out to see all of you that I’ve been missing for all this time.
American Idol…so happy that Princess Disney is gone…and while Sanjaya did sing well on his song, the creepy eye thing was, well…creepy.
24…I’m having a bit of trouble staying connected with the story this year, but it’s still great. Loooooove me some Jack Bauer. Yum.

I’m glad that she got through her surgery and is recovering well!
I was very happy with the AI results too. I wondered when Princess Disney would finally go bye-bye!!

She sounds like what I did when I got my wisdom teeth take out a couple of years ago. I may have even done that James Brown dance if I could’ve held myself up. Those doctors sure do have the “good stuff.”

Glad to hear the surgery went well. I know what you mean about 24 but I still love Jack too. I love that AI is finally getting down to an interesting point.

Wonderful news about Ashlyn. Glad to see you back and posting. I’ve just returned from my trip this morning, and I’m doing a quick cruise through my favorite blogs.

Glad to hear Ashy is doing well. Rumor has it the arranged marriage between my son and your daughter is off. I read somewhere Ashlyn is going to marry Sanjaya. What did his parents promise you? A share of his his loot when he wins American Idol?
