Bluetooth is biting me!

I have been on a quest for a good Bluetooth headset for use with my cell phone. I am starting to feel a bit like the Goldilocks of the communications world. Nothing has been right so far. I’m hoping that those of you who might use a headset with your phones may have a suggestion for me. Here’s what I’ve tried to date and what was “wrong” with them:

Samsung WEP200 – the sound quality sucked and my hubby heard feedback when I was testing it out with him. Not to mention, that I was worried that it’d fall out of my ear without me noticing.

LG HBM-730 – Sound quality was really bad. :(

Motorola H500 – OMG it’s the worst of the bunch! :(

Plantronics Voyager 510 – The one that actually sounds great both in and outgoing (!!!) … my little tiny ears resist the bulky size and it’s hard to get on and keep on.

I can’t win!! Have any of you found a nice, small headset that actually works? Do tell! :)

I’m still using the old-fashioned earbud with the cord. I can’t stand those damn Bluetooth ear pieces. Every time hubby calls me, all I can hear is the conversations going on around him, or the car air conditioner blowing on it!

I have a hands free device I like, but it’s not wireless. It works pretty well for me. I just don’t like the idea of walking around with a wireless thing in my ear on the off chance that I’ll receive a call.

Good luck in finding something comfortable.

I bought the Motorolla one but haven’t used it. I don’t even know where it is! LOL!

LOL you’re not missing anything! You know that scene in Pee Wee’s Big Adventure when Dottie is trying to get him to tell her how he feels about her when they’re on the payphone and he makes up the static noise and tells her he can’t hear what she’s saying? (Bear with me, and pretend you do.) That’s how this headset sounds. ;)

Well, I’ve been using a Jabra BT200 for two years now. It is a great headset, I really like the over-the-ear design, it is very comfortable. The sound quality is very good and the silicone earbud is just perfect (comfortable and deliver the sound in the ear).
On the beginning, I’ve been asking people about how well we would hear me and I got no complains.
Maybe you’ll think it’s a big headset but I think the new BT500 is smaller.
I must confess that the headset is starting to fall apart (the battery do not last as long as in the beginning and part of the plastic cover is broken) but it seems fair to me, my phones usually only last a year and half !
