Cat Haiku

My friend Yoshi has entered his Video Haiku in the Haiku Buckaroo Contest being held over at My Mommy’s Place. Yoshi’s is really good! As I was reading about the contest, Carma, my cat decided she wanted to throw her fur into the ring (You see, cats don’t wear hats. Well…except the one, but we know what HE does to houses). Some of you may have seen this picture before, but as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words and so far, it’s only been used for 6.

Cat Haiku by Carma

Come quick Cat Mommy,
Bowl empty, I am abused,
Feed now, I’ll forgive.

Oh, this is wonderful. It’s like a little kitty cat greeting card, complete with visual aid. Thanks for sharing it!

That’s great! And isn’t it true? They could have just finished off their food, and they’ll look at you like they haven’t eaten in years and you’re a horrible person for letting the dish be empty.

Yep! That’s exactly what that look is. Such a poetic cat you have.
