I love the Sonic Drive In. There’s no question that some days, a gooey cheese-topped order of tater tots and a yummy cheeseburger really hits the spot. But that’s not what I’m having a problem with that might require intervention.
It’s the Real Fruit Pineapple Slush. It’s more than just a great drink on a hot day, it’s a snack too. There are so many chunks of fresh pineapple in it! You literally can suck a frozen piece of pineapple-ly goodness in every sip. Who am I kidding? I don’t sip this drink, I devour it. It’s soooooo tasty. There really aren’t even words that I could use that would adequately describe my love for this drink.
You should go try one. Now.

I’m not much of a pineapple fan. Do they come in tuna?!
My human says it’s good I don’t have to have one because we don’t have Sonics around here. She thinks she’d like to try one because even Jamba Juice doesn’t have fruit in every slurp.

I could easily exist at the Tiggerprr household. We LOVE and ADORE Sonic. It’s by far our favorite fast food place, a place to stop for drinks or a snack, or a place to try something new. We love all of the new stuff they are always coming out with. I love their Sunshine Smoothies, and we’ve really been hooked lately on the new Java Chillers. If you like coffee drinks, be sure to try one. I love pineapple, but the DH does not, but this sounds awesome to me. I’ll have to try one soon!

Don’t get me started on Sonic; I usually drive by there, NOT on my way to anything else, just for a strawberry limeade. Can’t help it – I’m addicted. I ADORE pineapple but have yet to try this concoction. I think I’m in trouble…

I think you are safe with this particular obsession. I would caution against over-doing the cheesy tater tots and greasy cheeseburger. But the fruity drink? Good to go!

grrr, first Sonic you taunt me with your yummy commercials and then you some how brain wash the Prrr to advertise for you. Lancaster is so far away

Darn. No sonics near my house. Is it worth a road trip?
It sure is! I mean, if you have other stuff to do on the trip too. I wouldn’t drive say more than half an hour for one. Jack in the Box tacos or Bob Chinn’s Crabhouse filet mignon and fettucine on the other hand….worth a 3.5 hour drive.
