What does it take to get a tiggerprr out of hiding?

American Idol, that’s what!

I’m sorry for my tardiness in returning to the blogosphere! Would you believe my daughter got in ANOTHER car wreck? Furthermore…that this 2nd wreck in 2 months was ALSO not her fault? I also had a nasty bout of strep throat which required 2 rounds of strong antibiotics….ugh! I haven’t even had time to play WoW lately…so damn.

Back to American Idol…Tonight began the part of American Idol I hate the most…the auditions. Here’s a piece of advice for those of you who are interested in auditioning:

If you find yourself in one of the following situations…

…wearing a costume.
…bringing props.
…focusing more on your sad backstory than your singing

STAY YOUR ASS AT HOME. kthxbye.

Gosh that felt good. I’ll be back tomorrow. :) I’ve missed you all!

I never watch the first part of AmIdol. Although sometimes it’s just entertaining to see the idiots that show up on that show.

But yeah, I wait at least until it gets to hollywood before i start watching.

So tomorrow means you’ll be posting in about a week, right?

I’m not watching the audition part. Too annoying. I may watch when they have the 24 finalists, but only if there’s talent.

I hear you Travis! I think it’s annoying too, however since the hubby is the Chief Engineer for our FOX station, we kinda have to watch since he’s the one that’s gotta go save the day if things go amiss. Plus, it’s like a train wreck, you don’t wanna watch, you know you’re going to feel bad for having watched…but you can’t help it, and you gotta watch. :/

Where have you been? I thought you gave up blogging for good!

I watched most of AI last night. What was up with that guy who wore the mustard color suit? You couldn’t understand a word he was saying! Or that crazy chick with the glitter eye shadow who can’t form a grammatically correct sentence?

So fun to *see* you! I’ll have to keep up with the show through you and the Internet this season as we knixed TV at our house 4 months ago. You’d think after this many seasons people would get that the costumes, props and outlandish stuff doesn’t fly and I’d be willing to bet that less than 1% of those crazies get their 2 seconds of fame. Come on people, is it really worth it? I haven’t heard much on Jordon Sparks since last year but I expect a few more years will change that. I think Carrie Underwood is the first and only Idol winner to take and hold a more center stage place from the finale on.

    Hugs,
    Holly
