I’m really enjoying American Idol this year. I really wish that Kristy Lee Cook girl would have gone home for her crime against “8 Days a Week”.
Life keeps going by so fast and I seriously doubt any of you would be interested in what I have to say. Oddly, that’s where I was before I started to blog back in 2006…so maybe you WOULD be interested.
Ashlyn got accepted to the college of her choice. She’ll be staying at home, at least for the first year, since it’s just down the street a few miles. I hope she sticks with it and finishes her degree. Now we just await the end of her Senior year. She goes to her senior trip next month, 4 days at Disneyworld in Orlando. Lucky her, I didn’t choose to be a chaperone. LOL
Insomnia is still a part of my daily life. I am going to have a sleep study done next Friday. Of course, that begs the question…how can they do a sleep study on me, if I don’t really sleep? Hmmmm…
In case you were wondering where Canadians go for vacation…it’s Myrtle Beach. I’ve been trying to think of sneaky ways to get them to say “aboot”…but so far, I’ve not been successful.

My in-laws just spent the last week in Myrtle Beach - they trying to escape the expected rain today. They’re not from Canada, though, so sorry!
Great news about Ashlyn. Congrats to her! My daughter’s sixth grade class is making their trip to Sea World San Diego next month, and it’s all she can talk about. Neither her father nor I were picked as chaperons, so who knows how that trip will end up?!

As to the sleep study… I had one when I wasn’t sleeping, and it didn’t go well.
But if you’re taking medication to help you sleep now, make sure you take it the night of the sleep study (or at least ask your doctor about this one). I didn’t take mine, and that didn’t help matters any. Good luck!

lucky ashlyn, too bad she didn’t apply to evergreen, she could hang out up here. LOL
Ah sleep study. fun. Meesh had to wear this gizmo that supposedly tested if she’s got sleep apnea and measure other stuff while she’s sleeping. Except she didn’t get any sleep. LOL The sleep doctor says he wants to see me though after she told him about my sleep habits

Kristy Lee should have gone home the week before the Beatles songs, for what she did to Faithfully.
Do you think she’d stop that crap if we bought her horse and threatened not to sell it back to her if she does it again?
