OK this isn’t a big post, yet…I’ll come back and post again after the show…but my daughters and I were all…ECSTATIC (!!!!) to see the dancers from So You Think You Can Dance on the show! It’s like the best of both worlds! Yay!

My hardened heart…has cried a few times already….

I REALLY wish that Kristy Lee Cook would have gone home. It’s that damned site… and her pandering with last night’s song choice. Curse you stupid people!

It’s official, I’m a David Cook fan. I want him to win…and in a way I hope he doesn’t. I may actually like him more than Daughtry, vocally speaking. I do believe they are correct when they claim that this year’s group is their most talented. I’m having a lot of trouble figuring out what order the middle folks should go.

Chikezie reminded me of George Huff…who I just wanted to squish. I couldn’t help but smile when he performed, I have the same feeling about Chekezie. However, the one who without fail makes me smile is Jason Castro. He won’t win, but he sure is fun to watch.

It’s a new TV show on ABC…it’s really good. You should watch it.

I’m really enjoying American Idol this year. I really wish that Kristy Lee Cook girl would have gone home for her crime against “8 Days a Week”.

Life keeps going by so fast and I seriously doubt any of you would be interested in what I have to say. Oddly, that’s where I was before I started to blog back in 2006…so maybe you WOULD be interested.

Ashlyn got accepted to the college of her choice. She’ll be staying at home, at least for the first year, since it’s just down the street a few miles. I hope she sticks with it and finishes her degree. Now we just await the end of her Senior year. She goes to her senior trip next month, 4 days at Disneyworld in Orlando. Lucky her, I didn’t choose to be a chaperone. LOL

Insomnia is still a part of my daily life. I am going to have a sleep study done next Friday. Of course, that begs the question…how can they do a sleep study on me, if I don’t really sleep? Hmmmm…

In case you were wondering where Canadians go for vacation…it’s Myrtle Beach. I’ve been trying to think of sneaky ways to get them to say “aboot”…but so far, I’ve not been successful.

and it sucked! lol

To give you an idea of my day at work, I opened a computer file to finish my work at 10am. At 4:30pm, I closed the file and turned my computer off without so much as typing one letter. I have crazy people to deal with and I’m quite certain if I checked the moon calendar I would find that it’s either a full or new moon very shortly.

After that, I went to my therapy appointment and got even more depressed by going over some stuff from my past.

And to top it all off….
Simon Cowell encouraged Amanda Overmeyer’s slaughtering of my favorite Joan Jett song. I don’t get it. My husband and I both let out a high pitched “WHAT!?????”

Let’s hope it is true that the 40s are the new 30s.

Does Amanda Overmeyer (the “rocker” chick) on American Idol annoy any of you too? Or is it just me?

And omg…does Simon need to take some Midol or what? He’s meaner than usual this season so far.

And I hate myself for this…but I love Paula’s way overproduced song. :/
