OK…so…I’ve been an awful blogger for like the last…well…a really long time. So, I’m going to make my New Year’s Resolution be that I will start my Project 365 up again and start to blog regularly here. I actually have a bunch of pictures of events that happened that I need to update my project with, but haven’t downloaded yet. My hubby bought me a laptop for our 4th anniversary…the appliance anniversary. I am happy I didn’t get a toaster. Maybe when that gets here…It’ll be easier to blog.

Yoshi tagged me for the following meme…So just to appease him…I’m going to do it.

Rules

Each player lists 8 random facts/habits about themselves. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning before those facts/habits are listed. At the end of the post, the player then tags 8 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

My 8 random facts (in no particular order):

1. I love animals more than people. Usually.
2. I manage a Condo building filled with grouchy old people.
3. I’m 5′4.
4. I have horrible insomnia, which explains my posting this before 7am on a Saturday.
5. I try to be a good person all the time, and I succeed MOST of the time. }:)>
6. I have the most hideous toes ever. (So I never wear open toed shoes.)
7. I have a purse fetish. I have Coach tastes on a knockoff budget. ::sigh::
8. I love playing video games. Which might explain my recent carpal tunnel/trigger thumb surgery.

Michael over at Valtool’s Box created a meme and I have to say, it’s very thought provoking. I’ve been feeling very introspective (moreso than usual) lately. Let’s see what we shall see about the ol’ tiggerprr, shall we?

A philanthropist awards you $50,000 with the stipulation that you may use half of it for yourself and the other half you must use for the benefit of others. By “benefit of others” it can mean anything really, buying a gift for a family member or donating to a charity.

My good friend, Travis over at Trav’s Thoughts has tagged me for a meme, and I have actually never done this one! So I’m doing it! Oh and BTW, I’m reasonably certain he doesn’t have Cooties, so if I tag you…you should be ok as I am definitely Cootie-free, I had my Cootie shot way back in 2nd or 3rd grade.

Here’s the rules:

1. You have to post these rules before you give the facts.
2. Players, you must list one fact that is somehow relevant to your life for each letter of their middle name. If you don’t have a middle name, use the middle name you would have liked to have had.
3. When you are tagged you need to write your own blog post containing your own middle name game facts.
4. At the end of your blog post, you need to choose one person for each letter of your middle name to tag. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

My middle name is Gayle. My relatives used to call me Ammy Gayle when I was growing up, I hated it then, I REALLY hate it now, NEVER call me that, unless you want me to get on a plane and come hurt you. (And no, that’s not the right way to get me to come visit you! :P)

G - I love to put Elmer’s GLUE on my hands, let it dry and peel it off like it’s a layer of skin. Have ever since elementary school. I don’t get much opportunity to do that now, but it’s still fun.

A - ASHLYN is the APPLE of my eye. (2 for price of 1)

Y - I really hate the color YELLOW. Except when it’s mustard on a sandwich.

L - LOVE is the most important emotion to me. I wish there was more of it.

E - I wish that EVERYONE could just get along and there’d be no more need for wars or disagreement, and then there could be more LOVE.

While I just love people, close talkers scare me. I like to have good personal space or I start feeling closed in. I am at my best in small, intimate gatherings of people I know well, and like. My biggest comfort zone? My couch! LOL

Main Course - On which reality show would you really like to be a contestant?
The one I win and get a squillion dollars, obviously.

Dessert - Which holiday would you consider to be your favorite?
It’s a tie! I can’t decide between Halloween (So ghoulishly fun!) and Christmas (Such a good family time!).

My evenings were spent playing a lot of WoW, especially since I was feeling so crappy. It’s nice to let your characters run around all healthy even if you’re coughing up a lung.

This is a new activity that my friend, Mert at Almost Somewhat Positive came up with! This is a fun way to sum up the week’s, or just that Saturday’s, events.

The view from the side windows of my house of the houses being built next door. Gross, because it’s unsightly and also because the workers leave their lunch trash laying around and it ends up in my yard. Especially gross because they also catcall my 17 year old daughter as she walks up the driveway after school. I’m hoping that my phone call to the builder has resolved that one though.
