Now, I think I’ve seen everything. Yes, it’s a real ad. It was in W Magazine. The products, including, “Pawfume” are reportedly coming out this November according to the ad. It’s a new line of pet products by Juicy Couture. I bet Paris, Britney and that lot are quivering with excitement.

Wow.

So Like, Where’s tiggerprr Been?

I’ve been working. Loving it! (So far. I’m ever the optimist LOL). Soooo much less stress…sooo much more appreciation. I like it so much, I think I’ll actually take my Successories in there. I never took any personal crap to the last job, unless you count chocolate and Special K bars. We’ll see how it goes.

The kids also started school this week. So we’ve been adjusting our schedules and getting used to waking up on time to get five of us out the door and to our respective destinations. So far, so good.

I’ve also been playing WoW, but I am NOT addicted to WoW as someone seems to think. I just enjoy it, I could quit any time. I just choose not to.

Our first recording of our joint podcast led Yoshi to decide that we needed to have 2 podcasts, one where he and I co-host and interview fellow bloggers about themselves and their blogs. Jenny Ryan has graciously agreed to be our first victim interviewee. I just have to get off my butt out of Azeroth long enough to help Yoshi prepare some good questions for her. :) If you’d like to be interviewed by Yoshi and I, drop either of us an email, we’d love to hear from you! :)

We’re also going to go with our other podcast idea which is a mass hodgepodge of general discussions about topics of the day, news, movies, games, vacuum boobs, what Britney Spears isn’t wearing, etc…

So some pretty exciting stuff going on behind the scenes here! I’ll keep you posted!

Oh, and the cats are fine but OC seems to be a little more verbal and needy now that people aren’t around all day again.

This is How My Daughter and I Spend Our Saturday Nights…Sad, huh?

I Am Posting This Retraction Under Duress

Wednesday, August 15th, 2007

As you know…Over the past year, twice in the last month actually, I’ve made light of the ginormous amounts of wiring and various computer parts he just REFUSES to get rid of.

Well today, the power went out and somehow my power supply in my computer got fried. Yes, you guessed it. The hubby had an old power supply that he Frankenputered into my PC so that I am able to post to the masses. I was advised that there would be a worldwide (web) retraction of all harassment I’ve given him over the years for all the crap that he keeps laying about “just in case” we need it some day.

So, begrudingly, I must admit that I am pleased that he had the part he needed to get me up and running and that I’m happy that he has this massive collection of stuff. Yes, he’s a good hubby ::pat, pat::

This doesn’t mean I have to be happy about HOW it’s stored though, right? Right.

Technical Issue

Wednesday, August 15th, 2007

I think anyway. It seems that one cannot read or post comments right now to my posts. I’m looking into it, ie. begging Yoshi for help. And will hopefully get this resolved soon so you can communicate with me again.

Thanks for your patience! :)

EDITED TO UPDATE: After panicking…and actually CALLING Yoshi…he walked me through fixing it. You may now comment at will. Yay for Yoshi! :)

Look! The Guy in the Character Costume Is Waving at Us! Or is he????

Tuesday, July 17th, 2007

So Ashlyn and I were sitting at this extremely long red light (5 mins each light change), we look to the left and the Duke dog is standing on the side of the road waving at passers by when all of a sudden… One of the passersby chucks a wadded up McDonald’s bag out of their car and clocks this poor costumed dog right in the melon with it. I wish I had a camera…because the dog almost looked sad as he was craning around trying to look on the ground to see what had hit him. (See, it IS a really long light.) Then he kicked the bag out of the way. Which led to me think…

Do you ever wonder if those costumed people you see waving…maybe, just maybe…are giving everyone the bird while they’re waving at us? Well… if you weren’t wondering that before, I guarantee you’ll be wondering it when you next see some poor sap in a character costume. Won’t you? You can thank me for that later. :)
